Eyes Open Visualization (Near-Reality Visualization)

Alright, fam, let’s break it down. We’re flipping the script on how you see your world. And here’s the big kicker: when I say “eyes open” I mean it. You do not close your eyes in this practice. I know, I know, everyone thinks meditation means you gotta close your eyes, but in this game? Nah, we keep them open. Eyes open, people—no exceptions.

In fact, in this practice, you don’t just “visualize”—you envision. Now, what’s the difference? Visualization is often tied to imagination—yeah, that “close-your-eyes-and-pretend” kind of stuff. But here’s where we level up: envisioning means you’re taking what’s right in front of you and inserting your vision into it. You don’t close your eyes to see a new reality, you open them wide and see a new possibility in the now. Boom. You’re inserting your vision into what’s already happening.

So how do we do this? Let’s take an example. Imagine you’re looking at a pot on the stove. The top is sitting on the pot, right? In reality, the top isn’t lifting itself. But here’s what you’re going to do: instead of imagining what the top would look like if you lifted it—you’re going to envision it while it’s still there.

You don’t physically lift the pot’s lid, but you’re gonna see it in your mind’s eye—while your eyes are still open, mind you. Visualize the top lifting off, the shadows that shift on the pot as it moves, the inside of the pot revealing itself as the lid rises. And even while the lid is physically still on, you’re seeing the inside of the pot as if the lid is gone. Do you see what I’m saying? You’re re-envisioning the scene, rewriting it as it happens, but you’re not changing the physical reality—you’re shifting your perception. This is what I mean by inserting your vision into what you see.

The Power of Re-Envisioning: It’s an Experiment

Every time you do this, think of it like an experiment. You’re not just thinking about how things could be—you’re testing what happens when you re-envision what’s in front of you. What shifts when you insert your vision, when you see things differently, when you refuse to accept what’s “right in front of you” as the only reality?

When we get deeper into this course, I’m going to tell you why this is crucial right now, in this time-space reality. Why re-envisioning and rewriting your perception is so important to your transformation. You need to learn to bend your perception to create the reality you want, and guess what? It works. This is a skill you need right now to shift your life, to break free from limitations, and to claim your power.

Let’s take this a step further. You ever walk down the block, and something catches your attention—maybe a group of people, maybe someone doing something that doesn’t sit right with you? Instead of just letting it pass by, here’s where you get creative.

Imagine the scene happening differently. Maybe instead of that loud argument, you envision those same people connecting in a moment of understanding, or laughing together in joy. Or maybe you’re walking past a building that looks run-down, but you envision it transformed, with vibrant flowers and art covering the walls. You start playing these little games with yourself—What if this happened instead of that? Wouldn’t it be nice if this situation were different? And as you re-envision it, you start shifting your perception, and you begin to see things with a whole new lens. You get to play around with what could be rather than just accepting what is.

You might be thinking, “But that’s not how it’s happening right now.” And you’re right—it’s not. But that’s the point. You’re learning to rewrite the script in real-time, and that’s where the magic happens.

The Secret to Using Your Environment as a Tool

You didn’t think I was done yet, did you? Oh no, honey, we’re just getting started. The next part of this journey is understanding that your environment is not just a backdrop—it’s an active participant in your transformation. You’re not waiting for the world to change around you; you’re changing how you see it.

Here’s how you integrate this: You’re walking down the street, and you hear a car honking. Most people would be annoyed, but not you. You see it as energy, a tool in your practice. That honking is a sound you can use to shift your perception. What if you take that sound, and instead of being annoyed by it, you use it as a reminder that you’re on the right path? What if it’s signaling you to stay alert, to be aware of the now, to breathe deeper?

It’s all about how you see it. What if the environment is constantly providing you with signals that you can use to shape your experience? That’s the key—you are the creator of your reality, and the world around you is a canvas for your imagination and your power.

When you start looking at everything in your environment as a tool for transformation, you stop seeing it as random noise. You stop feeling like you’re at the mercy of the outside world. No. You start using everything as fuel for your own inner practice. You turn distractions into allies. Every sound, every movement, every bit of energy becomes a part of your meditation.

Taking It All Together

Alright, fam, this is the practice. The whole point of this is to remember that it’s an experiment—this is how you learn to play with perception and re-envision what’s happening in real-time. It’s about expanding your mind and expanding your world by rewriting your experience in the present moment.

As you go deeper into this course, you’re going to learn why this is vital right now, and how the ability to shift your perception can literally change your life. But for now, start simple. Start small. Keep your eyes open and play with the world around you. Re-envision what’s in front of you. See it, feel it, shift it. It’s an experiment, and you’re going to start to see what happens when you inject your vision into your reality.
